Svalbard Expedition Leader
Marcel was born and raised in Bern, Switzerland. He made his first acquaintance with the Arctic in 2008, when he went on his first excursion at the age of 18 and was immediately infected by the polar virus. Again, and again, he travelled back to the far north and finally emigrated to Svalbard in 2010. For more than 10 years now, he looks back on an adventurous time with many hiking, skiing, kayaking, boat and snowmobile tours as a guide and expedition leader. He visited, besides Svalbard, other polar areas like Greenland, the North Pole but also Antarctica.
