The Voyage & What To Expect

This journey is aimed at people that are interested in exploring the beauty of the Arctic with a small group of people. It’s perfect for photographers, nature lovers and those who have a passion for adventure and the outdoors.

The departure point is Longyearbyen in Svalbard which is connected by an international airport. From there we will set off into the wilderness to spend the next 13 days exploring the coast of Svalbard. The plan (weather and ice depending) is to explore the Ijsfjorden and then head north up the west coast of Spitsbergen exploring the remote coastline.

The captain and professional guide will work with the weather and ice conditions to ensure you see as much as possible. Landing ashore will be made on a daily basis to visit different sites which can include humans settlements, wildlife spots, glaciers, and also some great hikes.

The focus of the trip is on exploring and you don’t require any previous experience, just a basic level of fitness.

The boat is comfortable and well equiped meaning if you have never stepped foot on a yacht before you will feel right at home.

The expedition vessel is managed by a professional crew of 3 and you will be accompanied ashore by a professional guide trained in polar bear protection.
